versus Canterbury on Sunday, 1 pm at Caledonian
Soccersouth will go in search of a third consecutive win over Mainland in the South Island Derby on Sunday and get their season back on track. However Mainland are one of the form teams of the competition and Soccersouth will need to improve considerably from last weeks disappointing loss to United Soccer 1.
Soccersouth struggled to adapt to the artificial surface and looked flat after a long flight, however Soccersouth coach Hugh Madden refused to accept these excuses stating that at this level you need to adapt to the conditions you are given and that learning to cope with travel is an important lesson his young side needs to learn.
Soccersouth management will be hoping that key defender Nancy Campbell will be fit to play after sustaining an ankle injury on Sunday, Campbell has been in superb form this season and her experience would be sorely missed.

Nancy Campbell in action ...
Soccersouth has struggled to score so far this season, scoring only one goal in 3 matches and will be looking to emulate last seasons effort against Mainland which saw them score 4 goals in a thrilling 4-3 win.
